No, but that option was not available to them.

They didn't mean paparazzi either, as it was established they were not on the scene at the time of the crash.
This didn't stop the BBC or the rest of the media spinning that conclusion though.

TBH, if it was an accident, why all the lies and deceit?
All they have done is make themselves look guilty and to what end?

Oh they are a shower of [edited by admin]* no doubt about it, but how long after independence, do you think it would be before Salmond, became their man in Scotland? :-|

I have no idea and neither do you. Right now, he's far from being "their man".
In fact, I dare say they'd love to quietly bump him off, if they thought that the backlash wouldn't be counter-productive :D

You need to read The Prince, by Niccolò Machiavelli - real politics doesn't work the way you think they do. You might even try Robert Green and the 33 strategies of War, or his book on Power.

Salmond would sell us out in a heart beat. :-|

It's a prerequisite of becoming a politician. Gusmac, I've seen up close how the system works and how these people conduct themselves. I don't think you could survive as a politician, especially one at Salmond's level, if you were anything less than a lying cheating devious [edited by admin]. :-|

Your question tells me, you have little understanding of what these people are capable of, there are few exceptions, if any. :-|
