The kids won't be without CPS I wouldn't have thought, the council must think something is wrong for them to use children as bait.

Maybe they're the same sort of council fekwits who suspend cabbies for over ranking and use anti terror legislation to see what people put in their wheely bins.

Hate to think the effect this will have on the trade there. Parents reading this knee jerking $hit will be thinking "no smoke without fire" and lo the entire trades labelled as kiddie fiddlers...We have a bad enough press as it is!

The story states that 9 men were convicted in the area last year. That is not a fire it is an inferno. Maybe the local drivers are in favour of this because when the findings come back clear, it may help them.

Says 2 of the 9 are Taxi drivers...perhaps with no CRB cos none available from home country...and with Press history could well be seeing a pair of minicab jockeys. How many drivers in Rochdale-500?? or more? So a cloud of suspicion is placed over all for the misdemeanour's of 2 (who deserve to be shot!) Thats less than 0.2%...its disproportionate, sensational and opportunist journalism against what must be the most regulated profession in the country!

Betcha you would not like being told you HAD TO install it, at your cost and to a generous specification as demanded by your council?

I drive a Taxi. I also have CCTV. but its on my terms, and its MY CHOICE!
