What exactly is the petition against ? as so far nothing much has been submitted by the LC.

An interesting question.

Wouldn't it be funny (to some) should the so-called leadership of the unions put in a petition against the LC, and lobby parliament saying what utter meanies they are, only for the LC to publish a draft bill they actually agree with.

And then those MPs having been lobbied actually vote against the proposals on the basis of said petition and lobby.
