I've been talking to the gaffa this morning and he's seriously considering having all cars fitted with CCTV cameras.

We had a driver rolled over this morning at about 6:am, they took his car keys, money and did a runner. They also did a runner on the 2nd car that was booked. The Operator phoned the plod and yeah you guessed it they couldn't get anyone to him despite the fact they'd robbed him and took his car keys.

Notts Police I hate them with a passion.

CCTV is wonderful isn't it. We have a very iffy housing estate here and they have CCTV cameras at various points on the estate. There is one right across the road from a house that everyone knows that drugs are being sold from. The CCTV is a great deterrent isn't it!

Just an update on this, they stripped the car when we left it yesterday morning because they'd fecked off with the keys,, they'd nicked the radio, the CD system and emptied the glove box.

Here companies email each other with iffy addresses ect? You should also email them the radio number in case they try to sell it on? Many years ago 10 drivers would have gone round with baseball bats, they would soon return the goods, now you will have to wear gloves and a balaclava :-))

You can get grants for CCTV cameras, you should ask your lovely council if any is available?
