It's a condition of licence in Sefton that the P/H have to display the name of the company they are working for...you would not want a vulnerable person or child to be put in the wrong vehicle..
So if the plate information was on the door instead of the operator name and phone number would that not be enough? Considering that most systems now tell the punter the make, model, reg and colour of the vehicle collecting them why can't it give the licence number as well, problem solved
