so what would happen if the dog got the cabbies seat / carpet covered in dog hairs then? do we just say "well the fare is a tenner mate , but your dog has covered my carpet in hairs so im off to the garage now to hoover it out, so its now 20 quid, cost of hoover/loss of earnings," that's what we do people without disabilities & you want to be equal, why do people think guide dogs don't slaver/pant/drool/shed hair/ get wet & stink?? they are dogs after all

£1 hoover at Asda 4 minutes job done. You really shouldn't be in the trade.

Easiest way to remove dog hair is a sticky roller.

Easier still is to tear of a 6" strip of Duct tape and dab them off with that, I always keep a roll in the boot handy.

A £1 role of duct tape is too much for some drivers, good idea though =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

tbh , if i was on the desk i would simply say , " sorry nothing available for 3 hours " just to help the lads out if they had a guide dog, sadly owners only care about the rent & not the lads , awful people

Not all taxi firm owners are like that I resent that comment

Without doubt the very best way to remove dog hair is to stand the dog in an open, well ventilated area, douse it with petrol, white spirit or other flammable liquid, allow to stand for 3 minutes to allow full penetration, then throw it a lit zippo to fetch. You will find all the dog hair effectively removed - in a flash.

RSPCA might not be too happy though

simpler way is to take it to a dog groomers and ask for a blade 1

or look after your dog?, if it sheds & you know you have to take public transport bus/taxi etc have the decency to strip the fooker , its not hard ffs, the trouble with all these lot is they know your hands are tied & you cant do anything about it , take them or get a fine or whatever, honestly i have never come across a more selfish bunch of people, one of the stipulations to hold a licence is to have a clean presentable motor, yet we are forced to let dogs in them no matter what condition & we foot the bill for the cleaning ??? its absurd tbh

They "don't drool everywhere." They are highly trained dogs unlike some drivers on here.

so they are highly trained dogs then ? that highly trained that they don't drool, cast/moult/stink when wet? sorry you cant train that in to a dog , they are well behaved i will give you that, so what would happen if you picked the one up that's drooling on the video then? it gets in the car & promptly ( accidentally though) puts all that on your trousers ? what do you do ?

no answer to the question mate? i agree they should not be refused, if i like it or not its the law, , like i have posted though they should be on a higher tariff for the exact reason i posted, dogs get wet/moult etc .. why should any driver have to take time off to go home & get changed/ go to the garage & hoover out there car / because someone's dog drooled all over there trousers/cast all over there seat ?? how would you feel if you were the next punter? all dressed up to the nines out with the wife & got covered in hairs & drool ? wouldn't be happy i expect , once again, would all fall on the driver
