I have taken the best part of £2000 in card payments this year. That has cost me £35. Which has been paid for by two large tips for two of the longer distance jobs.

If I had used the office card payments it would have cost me nothing.

I struggle to see why people are moaning and objecting, yet the same people are moaning and objecting about the App firms.

Just doing my figures for this tax year and 23% of my jobs have paid by card. Luckily at the minute the car owner is absorbing the commission fees etc, although I think he is going to increase the rent slightly in the next few months.

Still get people that are surprised that all the cars (should) take card payments.

As far as I'm aware the car owner has only ever mentioned 1 transaction (over his 2 cars) being charged back as stolen card.

We have only been taking card payments for a year and we have taken just over £9500 and it has cost us £373
