Seems that the hacks have managed to get a U-turn - not the PH though, but they'll have more trouble with U-turns anyway

U-turn as airport barrier lifted for city black taxis
Glasgow's black taxis have won the right to drop off directly outside the city's airport – after a dramatic U-turn by bosses.
Today passengers using Glasgow Taxis Limited can gain entry through the barrier and into the inner lane outside the terminal building.
The lane – for authorised vehicles only – was originally meant to be accessed by Glasgow Airport's own taxis for dropping off and picking up.
But after a top-level talks with airport owners BAA, hundreds of black hackney cabs have the same privileges as airport taxis.
They will also be allowed to wait at the front of the terminal for prearranged pick-ups.
But private hires and all other non-authorised vehicles must still use the outer lane for dropping off and designated pick-up zones in car parks 1 and 3 for collecting hires.
The U-turn has delighted Glasgow Taxis Limited, which operates 900 radio-controlled taxis across the city.
However, it has led to calls for private hire operators to also be given access to the front of the terminal.
Glasgow Taxis spokesman Adrian Higgins said: "We have come to an agreement that all of our taxis will be able to pick up and drop off in the inner lane. We are authorised to go through the barrier and have provided BAA with the registrations of all our vehicles.
"So far we have not had any problems, although we have had a few complaints from people who don't think we're supposed to be there."
It's understood Glasgow Taxis Limited agreed an undisclosed figure to be allowed to use the inner lane, so drivers will escape making any extra payments.
When the new dropping-off rules were first announced, it provoked anger among taxi drivers and passengers, particularly those with disabilities.
Some black cab drivers were even considering boycotting the airport and refusing to drop-off or pick-up from there if the strict rules were not overturned.
Taxi driver John Thomson, 47, said: "Being told we can't uplift from the front of the terminal building was an invasion of rights. "The easiest solution was to allow taxi access for all hires, not private vehicles."
An airport spokesman said: "As part of our discussions with Glasgow Taxis Limited, we have upheld a longstanding agreement to allow their members to make pre-arranged pick-ups on the forecourt."
Glasgow Taxis Limited said it took "vast amounts" of hires to the airport.
A hire to the city centre with Glasgow Taxis costs around £17, while Glasgow's official airport taxis are about the same and private hire cabs around £11.
