Captain Cab

Why do you think I am always having a go at you.

I'm not

Any man who sets up a National organisation in Carlisle with even more than seventeen members must have the interests of the drivers at heart.

It is the unscrupulous ones who are exploiting the drivers who I want shut down and kicked out of the industry

As you know I recently resigned as secretary, but at the last AGM there were 51 members, I understand from the new chairman he has recruited an additional 36 since the mention of east european drivers first occurred.

At last GBC a real battle of wits with the intelligentsia of the trade. The names Steve not Dave but if you want to carry on calling me Dave feel free trig.

As for releiving brother Flanagan of his post forget it. The only releiving I will be doing is on the heads of the scumbags who exploit the drivers in this industry.

A real battle? :D

Rest assured with the GMB leading the assault, the result will always be inevitable, defeat.

Tell you what Dave, list all your acheivments since licensing that MATTER.

By that I mean things that make a real difference to your Minicab drivers. :-$

Then we can talk about the thousands of drivers that leave, set never to return, and why they do so.

I'll ask you since your mate Dave's out touting.

What exactly have you acheived since licensing began?

I'm not interested about wearing I.D tags, or displaying no smoking signs, what real acheivments have you gained for your 12 members since you began taking money off them under false pretences?

Perhaps if you did'nt spend so much time on here typing bollox, you would be better value for money like the real London Taxi trades representative bodies do.

That's a good quota and probably above average for the number of drivers you have up there.

Well it looks like the heavy weight chump has fled the field and the international secretary of the Carlisle Association has resigned.

I acknowledge being wrong in that if you had 51 members instead of 17 you had obviously filled three sides up.

Now that your entire membership stands at almost half of the MP's GMB has influence with, is there any plan to set up your own political party and declare independance.

As for trig, there was the grandfather rights for existing drivers at the start of licensing in London, there is the contribution to the door to door campaign to gain access to red routes and bus lanes, there was the court case when the GMB barrister humiliated the gangster scum who were trying to rob a driver of thousands following a no fault accident claim that was challenged by the third parties insurers. There is the parliamentry activity in relation to the health and safety question following the findings of the GMB survey that drivers are being forced to work eighty and ninety hours a week, the list goes on.

Unfortunatly I have to go and do some real work now, you have to earn a fortune to pay off the chisling scum in this industry before you earn a penny for yourself.

I suppose that is the same in London, Sefton or Carlisle.
