Why do you use the word suspect? I have nothing to hide and what am I suspected of doing, when I joined I merely followed the trend of everyone else and used a pseudonym, why not e mail me and and then we can all come out, if you see what I mean.

I've played Fulford...from memory thats the course with the tree Mr Langer found himself playing from in the B&H

I think theres around 20 of us coming down, but I'm not too sure of the courses that have been picked, we're in the area for around 4 days.

Getting back to the thread

Mark Greenhalgh is no Mr. Nice guy, but he does have balls. And make no mistake, he sees everyone as an asset to be cultivated. You could say he's a bit like you CC, but more up front. Mark couldn't convince anyone he was acting in their best interests, so he never really tried. Sincerity was not his strong point, but playing to peoples greed and ignorance was.

I think it will be interesting to see how the penguin comes back from this little set-back.

I always say taxiing is a business and those that think it is not pay the price.. selling the equipment to businesses / people is a Old con........... I'm will provide you with an income for the next four years if you purchase this piece of equipment from Me. sell so many units , get your money from the finance company and then go bankrupt

Yes, on this occasion we agree for the most part Mr. T. The Penguin was building his business on the backs of the gullible, but don’t get me wrong, everyone gets taken for a chump sometimes. The trick is learning from your experience, and not looking to proportion blame. The fact is if you spend you’re hard earned without doing your homework, it’s nobody’s fault but your own.

The same goes for false plate values in restricted areas. The Penguin’s blind plate auctions are partly the reason for the 50K plate values in Edinburgh – good for the seller- not the buyer.

I don’t doubt for one minute, the Penguin has money siphoned off somewhere, waiting to metamorphosis into yet another business enterprise. And with a whole sea of gullible cabby's, I believe the temptation will be too much for Mark to resist.

BTW, this was not an attempt to high-jack the thread but ‘you can’t have you’re cake and eat it’?
