Colin Keir is an honest upstanding member of the community whos aim is to do the best for the community we live in today that why we elected him to serve on the council you have not so why should we believe what you say and not him.Your main problem with Colin Keir is the fact he is a bus driver who you think he will put his company first council second he hasn`t done this so far so let`s wait and see what he does at least before you hang the poor man. How do we know what your motives are maybe you just want a plate to sell on because you are in financial trouble or some other reason it won`t be the first time this has happened ?its only a couple of years ago you were saying exactly the opposite to what you are saying now with regards to derestriction who`s to say you won`t be saying different once you have your plate finally look at the time its not 4am and i`m posting

Do me a favour. This is the guy who is sanctioning the council's strategy here. And that includes abusing the court system in the process. The very point I wiull be adding to the new writ.

Colin Keir sat at the meeting flushed. he was on the back foot. he knows what he is being asked to do is a political crock. But he's doing it anyway because he values his political career. He is a dishonest man. he's dishonest to me. he's dishonests to the political process and alleged democratic decency and accountability. He's dishonest to himself.

Of course he may not like me saying this. But his answer is easy. All he has to do is bring the matter to court.

However, considering that he is feverishly trying to do everything to resolve the matter before it comes to court, he won't. Remember that last wednesday's hearing could have been in court, which is what we wanted, where we could have been discussing the evidence.

I suspect though that when the matter does come before the court, it will be the evidence of the council's conduct that will blow its case out of the water before its even begun.

Well it just goes to show you taxi drivers only believe what you want to try thinking outside the box maybe then you all could act as one and have a trade u could be proud of restricted or unrestricted instead of everyman for themselves

You would be far more likely to have such a trade if everyone in it were treated the same way. It's difficult to feel proud of a trade that treats you like a second class citizen. As long as one section of the trade benefits at the expense of another, it will not have unity - only division. This happens all over, it's not just confined to Edinburgh.

What a good idea. =D>

Maybe that should be sorted out first at the 'Meeting of Minds', before they even think about anything else.

What's happened to the Fastblack's forum - from the information provided it seems that they've given it up but someone else may be taking it over?
