Mr GBC why don't you send him a PM asking him a question only a London cabby would know the answer too?

Then tell us all of your findings.

That's not entirely correct though.

It's true that I don't have him on my Christmas card list, but, like the vehicle choice debate, you would be surprised how many voices within the taxi trade support him.

Still, all those London voters will get there chance next year, pity the thousands who genuinely don't like the man, but don't get a vote despite being affected by him and his policies on a daily basis.

Anyway, I'm off to SGS for my six month inspection at 4pm today, ask me later what I think of him if I get a stop for anything! [-(

I'm not paranoid, it's just that I think everyone is after me.

Do you have to pay extra for that or is it in with the annual license fee? :?

It passed, within 6.5 minutes

£35 for the privilege, on top of the license fee back in May.

Still, that’s it until next year, if I don't purchase a new TX4, I popped into M&O the other day, having a little think about it . . . . ?

As a little footnote, the 2006 registered TX2 in front of me failed on the emissions test.

Nice to see that my 9 year old Taxi beats a new one! :)

Are the fares higher in a £35,000 TX4 then?

Cos if your income is going to remain the same, then say goodbye to that house in the Artic. Image

That's done and dusted. 8)

Funny you mention that, destination Stanstead Airport next Wednesday for a trip, before the snow arrives next month.

Well they've been in service for over a year now, it seems every third taxi I see is now a TX4.

I drove one the other year when my own one was in for repairs, I was suitably impressed with the performance, and now that no major problems have shown up, it could be time.

£8K and the current GBC machine could be yours.

Is it worth the hassle of selling it for small change like that?
