On your point about touting, it would be very rare if ever for a stretched limo or an executie car to actually be touting. If they don't have a job, they are unlikly to be cruising, looking to pick up a punter.

And obviously the people responsible for enforcement are VOSA and the LA.

not the police?

It is unlikely that the police would be involved in enforcement unless their presence is requested by VOSA or the LA.

I agree the vicims are the people owed money ............... but my question really was about what happens when companies previously operating under S75 decide that they do not need to become licensed.

Well they will keep ending up in court. :?

etc why cant a limo?...

In many places they are.

Since section 75 and a bit was repealed the number of stretch limos that I have seen has plumeted.

And even some of the ones that I have seen have been licensed. Image

Vehicles may not appear to be licensed as dispensation from affixing plates and other identifying marks can be obtained.

So everyone should check that if they do work from companies such as All Destination's that they are properly licensed to accept bookings before they do work for them then?

Doesn't apply to the driver though.

Mr Green said Saga was in the process of setting up its own in-house chauffeur service.

Best make sure it's licensed then.
