£300 or £42.85 per night, thats okay, thing is if he did not want to have it for seven nights why did he not get a shorter rental?
Some want you to pay for seven but know you will only work 5-6 nights £50-£60 a night after fuel £80+ a night and thats before you make a buck for yourself.
William I would burn you at the stake.
Are you saying some want to pay for nights they don't work

are you nuts

, or is it them?
No, it's people like you who see the opportunity of a free lunch trying to make something look more of a benefit than it is and feeling justified in doing so.
It goes something like this "you can have the taxi for seven nights for £300 but if you don't work seven then that's not my problem, it's available and up to you if you want to work it or not" then the plate holder walks away convincing himself he did you a favour while not considering the extra rental money he is getting is for nights you didn't work and the taxi sitting at the door.
What a good guy?
You know the type, a bit like you.
Now here's anther scenario, driver gets plate £700 puts on taxi TXII say 2-3 years old and works 4 nights on the street, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun while paying say £250 a month for the hp on the vehicle. Add in the running costs insurance, maintenance and repairs etc. Remembering the vehicle is single shifted and the owner is getting the best nights out of his taxi with almost unlimited hours in the premium shifts.
Just a bit better than paying £1200 for some dickhead who knows you can't work the hours you are paying for.
No 45k plate problem either, it just gets better and better.
