Yes it says 1st may start date on the new booking offices at the terminals, from what i have seen the black cabs at manchester airport are going to be in for a big shock when arrow get up and running.

I recon arrow will be taking the lions share of the business.

In my opinion this will be the nail in the coffin for the black cabs, and i think from 1st may the black cabs will gradually be eased out of the airport until they are no longer required.

I guess you have not even noticed by all the comments, your one brick short of a full load
Right here's something for you to get your teeth into
Man City is to build another new stadium next door to the new one, as they own the land, why because the council wont sell the new one to them,
bore samples are already being taken

I think the black cabs at manchester airport will soon be history not because they will be told to leave but because they will lose almost all of their business to this newer better operator.

Time will tell.

This new better operator lost a lot of custom from Leeds Bradford Airport due to his extortionate charges, a local private hire company's airport work increased by 50% with in the 1st year of Arrow taking over. Arrow are approximately 25% more expensive than the hackney carriage taxi's and 35% more expensie than the local private hire.

You must have a bed in Manchester Airport with the amount of time you spend in there, probably in Arrows new booking offices.

And does that mean that you believe that taxi drivers should be hauled into the 21st century from what appears to be your perception that we all still have a Victorian era mentality?
