The next person that posts abusive comments on this site will result in me not revealing the full details when available.

That person will be the reason for me not posting the next level of breaking news.

The next person will be in front of a rather large queue.

What do you mean "all will be revealed". As far as I am aware they made an application to Manchester City Council to have their own livery applied to the expected 100 vehicles which will be a wonderful silver colour, cos that's the colour for Manchester private hire vehicles. As to whether they have been allowed this livery is yet to be found out. Nothing fantastic about that.

Another thing that confuses me is Arrow advertise as a private company but in their terms & conditions state that they are only a booking agent

Quote:
1.You acknowledge that the Agent is merely a booking agent for the Drivers and whose only obligation to you is to arrange private hire vehicle transport for you to and from your destination.
2.The Agent will collect from you the full charges at the time of booking on behalf of the Drivers but the Agent shall not be responsible or obliged to refund you for any part of the charges for whatsoever reason. Your contract for payment and transport service is between you and the Driver.

I will be gob-smacked if Arrow get their wish, because if they do, the council will have to amend their policy on PHVs and secondly if they amend the policy it will have to apply to all PHVs licensed by Manchester.

They cannot just amend or alter a policy in favour of one particular PH operator.

What I would have thought more likely is for the council to request that there is some provision for WAVs in the Arrow fleet, bearing in mind that their service is exclusive to a major transport hub.
