OH NO,not the same old chestnut, seem to recall that a Licensed Black cab/hack is currently serving time for a reported 200+ indecent assaults and many rapes. Where do you get your figures from, don't you think that any rape or assault committed by a LICENSED private hire driver would be plastered across the Evening Standard in bold head lines. No wonder you need a meter! cos your numeracy is somewhat lacking.

AND IN THE MODERN VENACULAR........BRO,YOUVE BEEN SERVED!!

Eight women are sexually attacked by minicab drivers, some of them unlicensed, every month in London, according to figures released today.
The Met recorded 93 minicab-related sexual offences in 2008-9,

Contact the Met Police Don, they'll tell you everything you need to know, you seem to like FOI requests at the moment, so pop one in to NSY for all the latest stats.

Interesting reading.

Sleeping while PH marches towards bus lane parity. Go ask your ltda reps sorry they're asleep as well. When you wake up you'll be wearing a suit driving a black Ford Galaxy.

You're getting weaker bud, I'd give up. That’s what 12 hour shifts do to your sense of reasoning and reality. You’re delusional to say the least. :D

I've been doing a little bit of stirring myself this afternoon, I've spoken to both the LCC and CTC campaign teams (I'm a LCC member) and made them aware of your daft dreams.

Strangely enough they said the same as me, never.

Boris loves Cyclists, did you know he has more meetings with them than he does us? True.

They don't want you in the lanes either, and that’s an even bigger lobby than the licensed Taxi Trade.

As that shop says, every little helps.

UNFORTUNATELY THE METROPOLITAN POLICE DO NOT HOLD FIGURES IN RELATION TO GROUP OFFENCES.

AD SO I WOULD ASK YOU (POLITELY), TO AGAIN.......put up.or shut up

Pathetic.

8 females a month, and that's your feeble get out.

So you're saying the Police hold no data on rapes and sexual assaults?

You're well suited to the Minicab industry.

Lets hope it's one of your relatives next, we'll see how your stance changes then.

D.Glave...........is that the best you can come out with; the Worbuoys case ?

Oh dear me!

let's see............1 case in 22 years...........as opposed to.........?

Taxi's a tourist attraction ? lmfao on that one fella.

Tell you what, the London cabbies have a day off on one day and leave it to the "little people" to run the shop! That would convince the public like nothing else what a useless bunch of incompetents the PH drivers really are!

To think you actually believe you are our equal is staggering. Take the tomtoms out for one day and see where the drivers end up. You only cry for access to bus lanes in the hope of following one to your destination.

Sorry mate, a cheap suit and a tomtom does not a professional driver make!

All this nonsense from the likes of you and J.Griffin i can only assume you were both failed knowledge students..........don't be too hard on yourself, give it another try i understand they are more lenient with the wannabes from the PH industry.

We'll make a taxi driver out of you yet!!

yep, thats 10 rapes per year all down to ONE of yours. ANY WAY WHAT HAS THIS GOT TO DO WITH BUS LANES.

The question of who commits most rapes should not in my opinion be brought into a debate about bus lanes ,this is merely YOU avoiding the topic we are debating. I absolutely abhor the offence of rape ,and feel that the courts must be the distributors of justice.
I will not be commenting on the rape subject again as it has no relevance to the topic.

PLEASE ANSWER ?WHY ARE YOU AGAINST THE PUBLIC HAVING A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD IN RELATION TO MOVEMENT BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE COMMING FROM A PURELY SELFISH STANCE AND CAN SEE YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL TAKE ANOTHER NOSE DIVE,ONCE PRIVATE HIRE HAVE ACCESS TO .....tfl access lanes for all private hire users.

The reason for this is that Private Hire Vehicles are often easily mistaken for private cars and could therefore encourage other drivers to enter the bus lane.

But surely that's more reason for having better signage than banning licensed PH from the bus lanes? :?

That depends on your stance.

They abuse every other concession they've gained, more signage would encourage more touting, and the PCO / TFL know it.

That's why it ain't happening.
