I hate to think that you're spot on. Not because you said it but because of what it means for us.

You don't want increased tax raising powers unless you intend to raise taxes. And we all know who will be paying them.

As for Dusty, you too are spot on. The LibDem meltdown means we are now under the yoke of the Scottish Nasty Parety's motley crew of bus drivers, grocers and other assorted ne'erdowells.

And all with a hinterland of "researchers" who will provide any consultations to justify the SNP stiffing us.

We're gonna get minimum alcohol pricing for example. It won't change anything cos the neds will just rob us more to maintain their lifestyle.

Think of it as alcohol price inflation leading to real crime inflation.

That extra granny bopped over the head will be a direct result of SNP policy.

Imaginge Scotland being ruled by the Private reggies and Stationtones of this world. The lunatics truly have taken over the asylum.

David cameron thinking of bringing a referendum forward   fecking brilliant Could not be a better advert for independence \:D/ \:D/

There are many in England who would like a referendum on England gaining independence from the United Kingdom, including me.

4 Voices in Europe are better than the 1 we have, as Great Britain we are getting shafted by Europe by all the Human Rights pash an aw

As 4 independent countries and a certain Alex Salmond speaking for us Scots, we could be the ones shafting Europe, the gain for the other 3 within a United kingdom of 4 independent countries is we stick up for each other over the European facists out to destroy all of our identities.

Trust me the end is nigh for the Union be a part of it and protect your identity

I think most of us down here couldn't give a flying f*** about such things as identity.

We are a mixed bag already, and I doubt any of us have 100% true blood going back to the time before those Romans landed.

TBH I think the way some Scots, possibly most Scots, behave in respect of nationalism is evidence of people running scared of something. Quite what only you lot will know.

What I know is that I couldn't care less what you lot do, and when, but don't keep bringing the English into your debate.

That said, I still love you all anyway. :D

"Running Scared of something"

WRONG
We are pis-ed of with being controlled by a Westminster parliament that has lost control of your Great Britain, Europe have sh-t all over Westminster and we don't want to be a part of Great Britain anymore, yes we are pro-european if you believe what you read in the papers or fall for the educational brainwashing that has been going on for hundreds of years, England have opressed through education Scotland for years but now the vast majority are more intellegent and can see the oppressive attitude towards us.

A point to note is the fact that if the United Kingdom does break up, Europe will fall to, France and Germany won't fancy propping up the mortal remains of Europe  Pro-Euro my arse

I get it, you think England's relationship to Scotland is like your relationship to your taxi serfs in Edinburgh

But don't the SNP want an independent Scotland to join the EU?

That'll hold Europe together, surely

But it's funny that the SNP want to get out of one union and into a bigger one

If Salmond thinks London ignores Scotland then I don't think he'll be afforded much more attention in Brussels, but having a seat at the table will certainly massage his ego

They'd never do it because they know the result.

Because Salmond knows he wouldn't win a referendum now.

He's hoping that in three years time he can blame Westminster sufficiently for having to repay the debts for his/Scottish Labour's spending spree that the Scots will want to go it alone.

Mind you, that was the strategy last time round but the referendum never happened.

The Bill was published on Burns' Day, referendum was to be on St Andrews Day, sort of thing, but they eventually bottled it.

Could well happen again if things don't go as planned.

Bottom line, it'll happen when they think they can win it, not before.

For Scotland it's a WIN WIN

If we Win we become independent

If we lose we gain more powers from Westminster

Alex Salmond is already knocking on number 10!!! "Please Sir can we have some more and more and more", It's game set and nearly match me thinks :D

Question: Name a Unionist who could take our Alex Salmond on when the debate on independence comes around

Nominations please
