The reason for these lanes is because of the traffic problems at the games in the states a few years back. It is one of the conditions in the bid process. So you aren't going to get it changed. If you think by stopping athletes from getting to the games is going to help your cause then you are more stupid than you have been given credit for.

Many concessions have been gained since the initial plans were made, as for full access . . . Nope probably not.

But a little bird from the Met tells me a lot of the 'lanes' are un-enforcable due to completly inadequate signage, non D.O.T compliant signage, roadside information and conflicting information / times thats been isssued to Londoners on various websites.

In short, this senior roads policing chap reckons any reasonable lawyer would make mincemeat of PCNs issued in many of these locations.

The lane I passed was weird, at one point it was on the right side of my car then it was on the left side of my car, htf do they get across the road with regular traffic in the middle of it all :?
