Now, I know you don't really mean that Mr Skull.
I am pretty confident the majority of our members are satisfied with the commitment that I have shown over the last ten years. We have in place all of the services that are currently being offered by the new App companies. Where we will possibly fall short is the willingness to meet them on the short or long term discount levels they are offering, but make no mistake whatever discount is offered this will have to be clawed back at some stage either through charges to the participating drivers or the customers. I refer to some of the links above.
It is worth noting that during the last few years when we, as a Committee, have taken decisions to introduce new working practises to keep us up with the endless progress of new technology and new services for our customers the hardest part of our job was to suffer the abuse we get from a small section of our own members and drivers who simply resist any form of change whether that be our dress code, the introduction of our credit card facility, the need for more cars to come out during our busy periods, being the first taxi company in Scotland to introduce an Enhanced Disclosure check for all of our drivers and the list could go on. That's when a site like this comes in handy for our disgruntled members who simply think up a name, make up a story and come on here claiming to have been bullied because we have asked them to up their game. So far from sitting around doing nothing we are constantly on the look out for ways to improve our service to the Edinburgh Public.
I take some comfort in the sure knowledge that if you are calling for my resignation then I am probably doing something right.
Hot of the press.
http://uk.businessinsider.com/south-kor ... erral?r=USLes, you know how to waffle.
If both committees had made it clear to their members, as is your duty as an office-bearer of the company, what they would be faced with in the near future with multi-billion dollar corporations such as UBER and GETTAXI moving into the market. Their would be only one cooperative in Edinburgh with a 1000 members strong promoting a single app. And that Les, is a fact!!

But no, both committees were more concerned about protecting their gravy trains and just couldn't bring themselves to put their members interests before that of their own.
Les, all you have managed to do in the last three years, is to rearrange the deckchairs on the good ship City Cabs before it hits the UBER Iceberg.
You should resign.
