What you ignore is that i explained MY family sufferd in that obscene WAR our concern should be to prevent an occurence,currently IE TODAY British toops are dying in Iraq during an illegal WAR,are you happy with that or is Blair a war criminal.I deliberately avoided any comment likely to upset anyone on the day.after that if this site wants to debate the issue i will.If you dont like my opinions so what i dont like yours.As for skippy he who Pmd me a little while ago asking for help but pleading for annonymity on an easily winnable issue.some advice if you cant win the argument or just accept that human beings disagree on issues GROW UP.The issue you want solving despite any disagreements on this issue we are prepared to deal with there is no doubt you are being CHEATED you are entitled to what you want we can get it for our MEMBERS.Within the union movement virtually all opinions are represented,let me explain i consider ABORTION to be the most appaling crime the human race has ever commited,my union and Labour movement are unlikely to agree with me,do i stop working with them,no i realise that the overall direction of the movement is where i want to go.Recently Ulster has appeared on the site a long time friend we vehemently disagree on issues,do i want to silence him,no i respect his opinions,and look to where we can work together so should you our help for you is available its upto you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect Evil has many forms and comes in all shapes and sizes? For instance how many corrupt councillors do you know of either past or present who have sat in judgement of others? I would hate to be judged by a man with soiled hands. And as for taking someone's livelihood away for an insignificant misdemeanour might be seen by some, as Evil personified?

So what do soldiers do?, pick and choose what wars they want to fight in?.
What would you do GMB if you were in charge?, sit back and not get involved with anything until someone tried to invade.
We are our masters servants.
Do you not agree that Hitler had to be stopped.

I think bringing councillors into the equation of evil doe'rs may be a little off topic lol. So perhaps I shouldn't mension councillors again in this thread.

GMB, why do you have to always lower the tone?, forget politics for once and support the service men and women.

A SOLDIER

I was that which others did not want to be.
I went where others feared to go,
and did what others failed to do.
I asked nothing from those who gave nothing,
and reluctantly accepted the thought of
eternal loneliness...should I fail.
I have seen the face of terror;
felt the stinging cold of fear;
and enjoyed the sweet taste of a moments love.
I have cried, pained, and hoped...but most of all,
I have lived times others would say were best forgotten.
At least someday I will be able to say that I was proud of
what I was...
A SOLDIER.
George L Skypeck.

I'm sorry but this started out as a serious thread and yet again has been brought to nothing more than a slanging match between certain members - there is a time and a place and this thread should have been a place to remember and reflect on the past and the present - remember there were four British Solidiers killed in Iraq on Remembrance Sunday - on of them a lady only in the country a week, another a young father.

Yes Remembrance Sunday is particularly relevant to WW1 and WW2 but also to those that continue to give their lives for their countries in the name of peace!

Personally I think that the MODS should remove all inappropriate messages on this thread and let it be what it was started for - alternatively for anyone else that cares there is always the Flanders Field Web site!
