Don't other areas ask for details like regligious belifs, Allergies etc when you apply for a badge; you then get the relevant is required paperwork to refuse fares for genuine reasons!

What gets me is that this moron left his poor woman at the roadside without explanation and expects, as has been done, everyone to applaud him for it! 7 Day ban is too lenient - a pub that refused to serve a person with a guidedog would have been closed down!

I very much doubt any council would ask such a question when you apply for a license.

Or any sensible one at least. :?

If they don't ask then regardless of my own sentintiments this guy could sue his LO - if they have banned him for 7 days without good reason (there failure to ask) then .....................

The LO is not the person who is charged with telling the chap what the 'law of the land' is. It's the chap himself. :wink:
