ffs.....the tarrif card means f*ck all with you lot because as youve already said, youve vehicles with meteres, vehicles without meteres and HC's who rip off everyone.......which they dont, its just that some folks cannot afford Hackney Carriages, they're called poor people who are just affluent enough to put themselves above the bus as a form of transportation.

Why can't PH have PH tariff cards? :?

I didnt say they couldnt, I merely said they mean zero.

I never said it was. All I was asking was where did it say the price had to be given to the customer when they booked the job with the operator company. It is feasible for one man bands but not large busy companies.

Thanks for the offer but I'm a PH driver I know how to read a map and road signs. It's my job to know

Would there be any mileage (no pun intended) in forcing all PH to have a tariff displayed, whether or not a meter is used?

We already have to :?

Too many quotes for me to answer.

You'll have to make one point at a time, it takes longer I know, but so does guiness.

You have to because your operator says you have to not because the LAW says you have to.

Is it a condition in your Manor? It certainly is not a law.

How can an LA make a distinction between a bog standard PH and say a Limo or executive hire vehicle or a minibus?

My best guess is as previously suggested, serious retardation, and that might be a word I've only just thought up.
