It's this arrogance which defines the difference between PH and taxis in London. We as a trade respect the laws that govern us though may not always agree with them.

So you obviously can't be a Londoner because I remember Taxis blocking bus lanes demanding access to them in the 70's. So that was law abiding?

[/b]

We demand equal access but do not disrupt the public unlike your trade associations.

I can't be a Londoner because i fail to recall events from over 30 years ago???

i bow to your knowledge on that one, i was too busy learning my times tables in the 70's to concern myself with access to bus lanes!

Clapham common station rank is on The Pavement not the High street. I think you need to do your map test again (is this what having 'the knowledge' is??).

I love the way that one day I am Terry Flanagan and the next John Griffin do make up your mind.

Just remind everyone what great victories you and the LTDA have won over PH in almost 50 years?

Again, as I try to break this ignorance you display, where does the tube station lay? Don't nit pick with 2ft of pavement, it's at the west end of Clapham High Street, serving both the Station and the High Street.
It's an island rank worked by Suburban drivers.

And if they do drive a hundred yards down the high street, so what?
At least the females getting in to a Suburban Drivers Taxi will be safe, unlike using your mob.
Besides, does your crystal ball tell you what licensed Taxi is driven by a GBC or a YBC? :?

I never claimed you're Angry Griffin, I would expect a much more coherent debate with Angry Griffin, and to be frank with you I couldn’t give a flying Shiite who you are.
If you wish to cower behind a username, you go for it.

I guess it's embarrassing enough having to admit being a Minicab driver, never mind naming yourself on a public forum. :D

As for victories, we don’t need any, we already have what you want, and it’s something you’ll never even come close to achieving.

No matter how 'keen' you are.

Drunk again Don? I'm surprised you can afford to be drunk, or is it Tesco's own strong lager again?

Are Communists allowed to drink?

I take it English wasn't your strongest subject at school? Your posts of late are dreadful. All over the shop and making no sense whatsoever.

So if you've not been drinking, what's your excuse?

Prevarication? I'd use the online thesaurus Don. :D

To call it a meeting about entering Bus Lanes in order to secure access by way of a court challenge, would be a slight exaggeration.

I'd call it a few individuals trying to start a campaign whilst dancing to John Griffins tune.

I wouldn’t hold your breath.

As a footnote, I made a special effort to work Clapham High Street last night / this morning, and would encourage all the other London members / lurkers to do the same.

Good work, and less for the little people.

You're still a GMB Communist today Don, as you will be tomorrow, and the next day, and the . . . you get my drift.

Tell us all how the 'meeting' went Don.

I believe 'uphill struggle' may have been mentioned, along with 'little hope this side of 2089'

Still, I hope you all had a group hug.

Did John pay for the sandwiches?

That means you sat and talked hot air.

As expected.

Will Terry be staying on in his position, now that John Griffin pulls your strings?

"Taxi use of bus lanes disadvantages buses to some degree, especially at peak times. In addition it encourages abuse of bus lanes by general traffic. This effect would be significantly increased if private hire vehicles were also permitted to use bus lanes, particularly since private hire vehicles are unlikely to be so easily identifiable and therefore less likely to be seen as different from private cars.
