Until I see a newspaper report of this alluded to acquittal, or an internet link to such a report or some other solid proof of Mr Shaheed’s acquittal at Crown Court, I for one will continue to believe that Mr Shaheed’s conviction at Magistrates Court continues to stand!!

Without wishing to go into a bidding war then I do not think that there is anyone who is more of a cynic than myself!

1) The article by the solicitor was short and to the point and well written 2) Mr Shaheed would if convicted not bother with such a stunt as his community would be well informed as to whether his conviction stood OR not, so coming on here would not lesson his shame 3) Cases often disappear off of the richter news scale, many far more important than this one 4) If you have any doubt then I am sure that a request re FOI should sort that one out.

Many of us through no fault of our own, can at times get into a spot of bother with L.As etc, and I therefore see no harm in compiling a useful list of solicitors who will do a good job for the trade starting with the lady who represented him.

I guess that this must be the one...............

On 24th January 2012 at St Alban’s Crown Court, Taxi Driver Syed Shaheed successfully had his verdict overturned after losing his livelihood and every means of supporting his family.

Be nice to find out the reasoning for this successful appeal.
