Well I agree that as far as I know the construction and use regs don't bother about rear window tinting, so the question I alluded to above was what's the difference between a Skoda and a limo that means that the latter is allowed rear window tinting by the LA when the former isn't?

I know the two vehicles are entirely different beasts, but that doesen't address the point of principle involved - why shouldn't a Skoda PH be allowed rear tints when a limo can have them?

The point is surely that the tinting problem in relation to limos has been 'solved' as a matter of expediency, not safety or other matters of principle?
