As for the seat belt bit, why did it cost £500 for a barrister to read an act?

And apart from the stupid copper, and his boss that allowed the prosecution to go ahead, is their anyone in the country that doesn't understand that PH don't need to put on a seat-belt whilst engaged? :?

They got costs surely?

Lets make it quite clear the GMBPDB would like to work alongside the HC trade to establish agreed demarcation lines enabling us then to work together in the interests of the industrys, and its workers.
The racist fascist views so ignorantly spouted by these 2 CRETINS would lead most people to think [no chance] however i know this pathectic duo are entirely unrepresentative of your NORMAL HC.driver who recognises the need for co-operation between both sections.
TAXI_CARD also allocate PH vehicles whose passengers deserve equality and thanks to our negotiations will now get it,only a moron would deny them that access.for HC is unable or more likely UNWILLING to cover that work.
ORGANISE EDUCATE AGITATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can someone explain why, if we already have a taxi service, we should tolerate pseudo taxis, aka private hire?

Seems they can't make their living being PH so they want to operate as taxis by the back door.

One licence system. One quality control system.

That means PH are binned. I'm all for that.

Sounds like millions of ££££££££££ in compensation to all those who have had to buy WAV's.

Bring it on.

So the great one tier system is brought into being once again.

What happens to those who were dragged kicking and screaming (just this past year) into licensing? i.e. the section 75 people

What happens to limousines?

What happens to wheelchair taxis?

What happens to those in the PH system who quite like the way they operate?

What happens to those who like their saloon cars?

It appears to me that to end one form of regulation, we have to come up with another.

regards

CC
