How can you close a window of opportunity when the courts have already defined the ground rules for keeping the window open. You fail to realise that councils in scotland are hostage to the ground rules set by the courts. What do you think Edinburgh council will do when they are told by the Sheriff court that their recent so called survey isn't worth the paper it is written on?

I think you should grasp a little reality of the situation in Scotland Trevor and stop letting your heart rule your head.

Just Saul on the road to Damascus, which has all been said before. As has the reporting of my number plate. It was ineffective then. It will remain so now.

You see, some folks can't take on board that it's taxi drivers who pick up passengers, not taxis. Some owners, who are reasonable will have no problems retaining the loyalty of their drivers. But there again, there are the greedos who've ripped drivers off, treated them despicably and who are heading for the swallow dive.

Perhaps when de-restriction comes there will be some in the trade who will wish they'd treated the Skull and Taylor more decently. For them, the chickens will have come home to roost.

I know there are interests in the trade just waiting in expectation of picking on the carcases of the "businessmen" who fail. A little garlic will make those carcasses more palatable, it will disguise the acrid stench of bad taxi ownership and vested interest failure.
