I like a bit of heat/controversy in an opinion, and TBH that whole editor bit was a bit drab.
TBH part 2, it reminded me of a PHM's opinion.

Quote: To answer our letter from the
concerned Liverpool driver, will he have to undertake a NVQ? at the moment, the answer is no - and in the future? Toss a coin. Will it cost me anything? At the moment the answer is no, only time off the road - and in the future? Keep the coin spinning and best out of three... steady now!! Me thinks he should toss that coin again I have it on reasonably good authority that Liverpool is to follow Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens and West Cheshire and introduce the NVQ for its taxi drivers |

We all know that Berwick and Newcastle will come under one authority next year with all the boundary changes but what about the areas around Liverpool And what about the rest of the country, this is going to be a minefield as some authority's have different rules to there neighbours |

BTW, How long will it be before your back in the saddle JD, I hope the recovery is progressing well I think the following councils are merging. As for back in the saddle well that could be a long process. Northumberland County Council Alnwick Council Berwick Council Blyth Valley Council Castle Morpeth Council Tynedale Council Wansbeck Council Regards JD |
