Hi all my grandad was a taxi driver in sheffield for 50 years...and unfortunately he passed away earlier this year...i am on here trying to trace his old black cabs...reg numbers a272 tgb and e452 vnb..if any body has any ideas on how to track these cabs or any information this would be much appreciated as they have a lot of sentimental value. thanks danny |

You may be able to start with DVLA. They may be able to tell you if they're still on the road. They won't give you address details, though. If, however, you're friendly with a plod, local council or similar, they may be able to get contact details through the back-door!! |

Commiserations on your loss. Have you checked the insurance validation service, or whatever it's called, to see if they are still insured by someone?
