Well some achieved wonders at a local level, however at a national level not a lot.

But that doesn't mean they didn't try.

One tried and failed to get the trade fuel rebate duty when your fuel was £1.35p per litre......it also tried to get you allowed to use 'red' diesel when the fuel was expensive.

It additionally tried to point out to government that putting certain vehicles in the £400 per year (gas guzzling) road tax bracket wasn't going to encourage people to buy the vehicle or retain it. Especially when the vehicle was wheelchair accessible.

It also responded against potential changes in the bye-laws consultation allowing councils to fine cab drivers for misdemeanours and allow councils to change bye-laws without any referral to the DFT, thus making a bye-law similar to a PH condition.

It has advised numerous local associations on differing local issues.

And it has been banging on about self employed drivers not being paid when they attend training courses for a job they already know how to do.

But the above aside......what did you do?

Why would you want to know what I did? I've only just started getting into the flow of being more interested in the trade in which I work so as I said "never mind London what about the rest of the country" which is of more interest to me. But if you really, really, really want to know what I did this year give me a shout.
