TAXI HIT BY PYJAMA CARJACKER

A TAXI driver trying to be a Good Samaritan was almost killed after he was carjacked by a woman who was wearing pyjamas and had no front teeth.

Cyril Holman, 60, got out of his cab after being flashed down by a 4x4.

The woman jumped into the cab and started to drive off - so he grabbed the steering wheel and was dragged along the road 200 yards. The 4x4, which was driven by a man in his late 20s, also sped off.

Mr Holman, from Rochdale, Lancs, needed 20 stitches to his head and suffered a black eye and grazed hands in the incident.

He said: "I don't think I'd stop for anyone again. I could have been killed."

His cab was later found dumped with pounds 140 takings stolen.

Why grab the steeting wheel and hold it being dragged for 200 yards? Is it just me, or is that stupid?
