Experts predict 'no-car future'


In the future no one will own a car, and when we want to drive we will request a vehicle from a fleet of automatically controlled machines.

That was the view of experts taking part in a special meeting of the Government-sponsored British Computer Society.

They also claimed that the best way to take motoring forward would be to tear down all traffic lights and let dashboard microchips control anything that moves.

Now if they all agreed on that, and the gov adopted it, then wouldn't it make our lives easier. [-o<
