I was under the impression that the best practice guidance was meant to be nationwide until I was informed of this link

Well if its been done over by the Morons at the empty barrel department of the scottish executive it'll be twice as long as the national version and twice as difficult to understand and yet contain only half as much useful information...

Geeze..how many extra £millions would that extra Scottish executive Input cost us...

New legislation from april this year will require all taxi & private hire offices to be licensed & a log of all jobs will have to be kept & maybe investigated at anytime by the authorities.

thats only going to be if you have more than three vehicles..otherwise its the same as before for smaller PH operators..eg no Dedicated booking office or Log needed..just a bookings diary would suffice..

from april this year? Falkirk Council have still to inform us what the legislation requires we keep records of. anyone give me a quick summary to see how close my office is to compliance? BTW we are a TAXI company, not PH
