I went on my first prom of the season this evening and there was a Royal Logistics Corps bomb disposal van there. It was using its blue lights and sirens to get past the other cars and then dropped 2 girls at the prom. This was not a novelty vehicle but the real thing from the nearby army base and the vehicle had a military number plate. I will be ringing the base commander on Tuesday morning. I took a photo of it.

I couldn't get hold of the telephone number for the base so I have sent an email to the ministry of defense.
