It is something different. I suspect they are applying for a restricted license that allows them to act, sort of, as a PH, but they must charge separate fares.

On a restricted license don't you still have to register the route or travel at least 15 miles in a straight line from pick up to destination?

If the death trap is only being used for weddings, won't the exemption apply?

I was'nt aware the act stipulated a vehicle type?

I seem to remember when the LTDA lost their case against the rickshaws, the judge at the time decreed that the contraptions were indeed buses. Go figure.
