Dont you need to state a bus route for a bus license, or is that something different?

It is something different. I suspect they are applying for a restricted license that allows them to act, sort of, as a PH, but they must charge separate fares.

On a restricted license don't you still have to register the route or travel at least 15 miles in a straight line from pick up to destination?

If the death trap is only being used for weddings, won't the exemption apply?

I was'nt aware the act stipulated a vehicle type?

You are right they are only currently doing/offering a wedding service, but clearly they want to do other work.

I seem to remember when the LTDA lost their case against the rickshaws, the judge at the time decreed that the contraptions were indeed buses. Go figure.

That was the pedal things, this one in Brighton has an engine.

TFL didn't entertain them when old Dominic tried to bring them to London.
