While everybody is busy knocking limos for being unlicensed, this type of vehicle is now a common site at Prom venues, like most wedding cars, they are unlikely to be licensed and insured for this type of work.
I must add however, that at the moment, i do not know if this was the case in this incident, but many i see at venues i am dropping off at, i know are unlicensed!
I hope for the sake of the young man that died, that the car was legal and insured correctly.

I saw a Roller with all the ribbons going up the motorway today towards Gatwick.

Had a nice driver with a nice hat on etc etc.

The only thing was that he only had one punter on board. :?

Work that f***er out then. :?

I assume that the punter you saw was male and in the back. If so it is obvious. He has just got married and as part of the "wedding" the transfer to the airport was included. His bride was obviously down on her knees giving him a blow job.

He had a lucky escape and then thought to himself, I've paid for the car I'll go home in style..

OR

The roller didn't have enough headroom for her outstretched legs and the best mans arse, so they got a TX instead and followed on later

Not sure the wedding airport transfer is a legal part of the wedding exception. [-X

But maybe the chap was just going to the airport to pick up the bride he had just bought off the internet.

simple answer to that is around that area all the main & side roads get very busy so a lot of junction hopping happens only on the motor way for a couple of miles.
