Hi Ladies/Gents There is no comment on the above consultation on this forum closing 28th July Verify Medical fitness secton re: Insulin Diabetic Group One. Check out the above and DFT Medical Web site DVLA at a Glance. Make sure your local associations/unions get the message across to DFT, where's the proof that drivers or passengers have come to grief because of a driver on this medication and following the C.1(one) procedures. If we let parts of this draft reach parliament we will be seeing about 2% 5000 of drivers on the scrap heap. If you have friends in the Police/Ambulance Services bring the medical information to their attention does not effect Fire Brigade because the FBU won a legal case against DFT on discrimatory grounds. We've got a few type 1 diabetics driving round our way, they are fit to drive and have been doing for years. |
