Post subject:  Review of UK domestic drivers hours rules

This is a consultation on domestic drivers hours i wonder if this will affect taxi drivers.After recent news i think it might.

Been discussed before and I think there are folks who would love to see our hours limited, but next year is an election year, so we are safe for the time being IMO.

That said, I quite like the idea of working less.

it will happen, sooner or later, the cpc+o-licence (aka HMG earner) will creep down from HGV/PCV into light commercials+taxis/PH.

Possibly not if we get rid of the four and twenty Cuckoos half baked in the Nu-Lab pie. Maybe the Tories will take a more commonsense approach to ensure that small business's survive and get rid of this damned oppressive nanny state that we live in at present... :sad:


Oh! and when theyre at it maybe they could get us out of the EU to please :D
