Police Hunt Jerry Springer Lookalike Cabbie

A cabbie who looks like TV host Jerry Springer is being hunted by police after he accosted a schoolboy.

The 10-year-old boy was walking along Dowsetts Lane in Ramsden Heath when the taxi driver pulled up alongside him.

The driver gestured at the lad through the window and asked if he wanted a lift.

Police probing the incident say the driver could have just been making a kind-hearted offer but they need to track him down to find out.

The incident happened at 3.30pm on Thursday September 10.
