Should be fun with cyclist travelling across red light and down one way streets the wrong way.

your link appears to be broken, try this

My take on it, make them take a test, pay insurance and give the bikes a reg number so they can be traced, when at fault. We, as drivers pay enough.

I don't see why cyclists shouldn't have insurance, even if it's for themselves should they be unfornutate enough to collide with the big metal motor vehicle they can't avoid for some strange reason. Apart from which they should be flattered that I'm distracted by their lycra clad backside being waggled in front of me

Its far from a distraction, Its like watching two giant black garden slugs humping on a ferris wheel.........yechhhhhhh!!!!!!

and Im with grumpy on this one...anyone on wheels using the road should have to sit some form of road/driving test to ensure they are fit and proper to do so, and that they and they alone are responsible for their own actions.

My last suggestion mirrors the governments..yes allow them to cycle the wrong way up certain roads..but only if its on the out side lane of a motorway.....

Dear god..this government and its advisors truly need locked away in a secure Institution for at least 20 years..they're a bunch of bloody Idiots :?

Your right Toots.... they should be insured and also they should be liable for scratching Car wings, doors and Mirrors etc as they squeeze between vehicles at junctions...and they should have a clearly readable registration plate to Identify which Lycra Clad Jinker is actually riding the bike
