Taxi Driver Racial Abuse And Knife Charges Admitted

A 23-year-old man has admitted possession of a throwing knife and racially abusing a taxi driver.

Daniel Hickey, of Pollards, Maple Cross, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated harassment of taxi driver Deividas Drukteinis in Watford on Sunday, May 10.

He also admitted another public order offence and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

Watford magistrates committed Hickey to St Albans Crown Court for sentence on Thursday, October 15.

Hickey was released on unconditional bail until that time.
