Taxi Driver Injured By Air Gun Pellet (Weston-super-Mare)

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Weston-super-Mare on Thursday 24th September 2009.

The incident occurred at approximately 10.15pm when the victim, a taxi driver, was driving a left hand drive limousine on Herluin Way, away from Weston.

He sustained the injury when an air gun pellet has struck his finger through the open driver's window. It's believed the shot was fired from the vicinity of the cycle path adjacent to Hutton Moor.

He received a nasty wound to his finger which required hospital treatment.
