Taxi driver calls police over drink driver


A TAXI driver called police after seeing a woman get into her car drinking a bottle of beer.

CCTV operators scanned Manchester city centre and spotted Kerri Tebay parking at 4am.

Police spoke to Tebay and saw she had glazed eyes and was unsteady on her feet, said Matthew Siddall, prosecuting, at Manchester magistrates' court. She was found to be twice the legal limit.

Tebay, 25, of Exeter Road, Stockport, pleaded guilty to drink driving and having no licence or insurance. She was banned for 18 months and fined £150 with £85 costs.

Its about the only time police listen to taxi drivers :roll:
