If it had hit the cab then we would have all been shocked and mega pi**ed off. But thankfully they didn't kill anyone else, only, regrettably, themselves.

More than likely what killed em was the MOD telling the mechanic to fit a fuel pump from an 83 Cavalier rather than fitting the proper one, sorry chaps but I don't see how a qualified pilot ditches on friendly soil for any other reason than mechanical failure, ok it was 5 ft, but 5ft to a pro is 60 inches away from disaster. You bitch our boys, but I won't, semper fi. |

The Officer who's taking the case said it was more likely to have flown 30ft above the Taxi and not the 5ft the driver said. |
