Taxi cordoned off outside Children's Hospital after attack
A TAXI driver assaulted in his cab drove his vehicle to Sheffield Children's Hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning.
He was attacked on Boston Street at around 4am and drove to the nearest hospital for treatment.
His cab was cordoned off and left under guard until first light yesterday for a forensic examination to be carried out.
The driver was then taken tothe Northern General Hospital for treatment.
Five men - one aged 18, three aged 19 and one aged 20-years-old - were arrested in connection with the attack.
