Three saved in taxi canal plunge Only the roof of the taxi was visible above the canal water A taxi driver and two passengers escaped unharmed when a black taxi left the road and plunged into a canal. The three adults in the taxi were thrown a life ring and helped to the bank at Canal Wharf in Chichester, West Sussex, on Saturday evening. Sussex Police said they were suffering from shock but did not need to be taken to hospital. The taxi was almost completely submerged and is expected to be recovered from the canal on Monday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/sussex/8362001.stm |

I've just drove past the Vosa guys pulling the cars in and for a split second I was going to pull over to them and ask them could they find out what the noise is. How desperate's that!!

I think the driver and his punters have had a result in them not being dead. But the driver defo needs to take that Sat Nav back.

I spent most of Saturday night/Sunday morning with only my roof showing above the water thanks to the weather. Some incredibly heavy showers, the like of which I can't remember seeing to often. Still, it made a good night of it earnings-wise! |

It's a black or dark blue Metrocab, best ****ing place for it as well, and the rain was so heavy that night you couldn't see the road, so I guess that excuses the driver to some degree this time. |

What are you saying man, if it is a Metro cab, all that will be required is a quick jet wash inside and out dry it out, refill the tank with fresh diesel and an oil change and bobs your auntie off it will go back to work
