A 45-year-old woman has died after being hit by a lorry on the A90 between Perth and Dundee.
Tayside police said the accident happened about 2050 GMT on Friday night near to the junction with Star Inn Road after the woman got out of a taxi.
Both carriageways were closed for much of Saturday, and the northbound side of the dual carriageway was expected to be closed into the evening.
Tayside police said diversions were in operation via Longforgan village.
Officers investigating the incident said they would like to trace any taxi drivers who dropped off a female passenger on the Western outskirts of Dundee - possibly in the Bullionfield, Benvie or Liff area - prior to 2050 GMT on Friday.
