had a pick up tonight and was wondering when did the overspill rank start at the driving range? I've never noticed it before, and it was the hi-vis vest on the marshall(?) on the gate that drew my attention to it. |

What the hell is going on at that airport, nearly every week things have changed. Whats the rule at the drop off point, every time I come up to pick a punter up I always wait until the give me 2 or 3 rings then go to the drop off and they jump in, but there seems to be a squad of Hitler traffic wardens, threatening all kinds of action if you stop to get the punter in. As a hackney I can pick up and drop off in any open public place, so why are they stopping drivers picking up punters who are stood ready to go |

He tried to explain he was there for a mate, not a hire  Warden said as he had his sign on the roof he was considered a taxi, no matter who he was for. Not sure, if he took it off first, a blind eye would be turned for a "stop and go" as you term it.

Go to Gatwick 3 or 4 times a week, never pay. Educated punters is all you ever need.
